Our office has developed a new state-of-the art dental suites at Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital and Columbia New York Presbyterian hospital in New York City. It offers those children, total comprehensive oral rehabilitation under general anesthesia in one day (go home same day) who are not candidates for conventional office treatment. Some reasons for parents to consider hospital dentistry are the following:

 

A. Certain children due to age and anxiety can not cope with traditional dental treatment.

B. Physically or mentally challenged children are also candidates for this mode of treatment.

C. Extensive work is much easier for a young child to tolerate under general anesthesia, rather than long hours or multiple visits in the dental chair or with a restraint board.

D. Some children due to severe injury or illness, may already be hospitalized and require the inpatient services of our team.
